On the road again: where Kudos will be during AW14-15

November 19 2014 / By Charlie Rapple

My unexpected speaking engagement at last week's SpotOn London has reminded me that it's time to give you another round-up of where you can find us in the coming months:

  • UKSG One-Day Conference "Untying the knots and joining the dots:
researchers' needs from funding to outputs and beyond"- tomorrow! I'll be talking about whose responsibility it is to increase visibility, reach and impact of research
  • UKSG Forum "Information without frontiers – barriers and solutions" - Friday - Kudos is exhibiting at stand 48, and I'm moderating a session on impact metrics including the Royal Society of Chemistry experiences with Kudos, and an update from James Willsdon, chair of HEFCE's review of research metrics, which has just released a summary of the responses to its first phase
  • London Info International - London, 24 November - Ann Lawson will be flying the Kudos flag at this new event - do let her know if you'd like to meet up
  • STM Innovations Seminar - London, 3 November - David Sommer will be attending on our behalf - do get in touch with David if you'd like to pre-arrange a catch-up
  • LeWeb - Paris, 9 December - Melinda Kenneway will be talking about Kudos amidst other visionaries and hot start-ups at this 10-year-old digital innovation conference
  • Force 2015 - Oxford, 12 January - Charlie Rapple (me) (indeed, I) will be attending this follow-up to the excellent Beyond the PDF conferences
  • APE 2015 - Berlin, 20 January - David Sommer and Melinda Kenneway will be there for Kudos, with Melinda also speaking at the previous day's ICSTI meeting

Later in the year, we'll also be speaking at NFAIS and ER&L, and attending the UKSG and STM Annual Conferences. And much more! But all that can wait for a future posting. In the meantime, we hope to see you somewhere on our travels!
