• JISC Digifest, 11-12 March 2014, Birmingham, UK
We are very excited to have been one of the winners of JISC's Start Up Bursary Competition, and to be participating in the JISC Digital Festival which showcases current innovations in the education sector. Visit Melinda Kenneway and David Sommer at stand 39 to find out more about Kudos, and try your hand at our buzzwire - you could win this very cool 3D Printing Pen!
• UKSG 37th Annual Conference and Exhibition, 14-16 April 2014, Harrogate, UK
Melinda will give a talk on "Reputation Matters: towards an author economy", touching on researcher performance, emerging measurement systems including pre-peer review scoring, and other changes in our increasingly metric-led environment.
• Allen Press Emerging Trends in Scholarly Publishing Seminar, 24 April 2014, Washington DC, USA
Melinda will be participating in a panel discussion on alternative metrics, chaired by the Scholarly Kitchen's David Crotty at this always popular and insightful gathering.
• STM Innovations Seminar, 29 April 2014, Washington DC, USA
Melinda Kenneway will be in stellar company, talking about Kudos in the context of the "author ego-system" alongside speakers from Plum Analytics, the American Chemical Society and the Copyright Clearance Center.
• STM Annual Spring Conference, 29 April to 1 May 2014, Washington DC, USA
Melinda will be back on the podium on 30 April to give a 5-minute flash introduction to Kudos at the STM Conference, the overall theme of which is Stewardship of Knowledge: Building a Framework for the Future of Scholarly Publishing.
• SSP 36th Annual Meeting, 28-30 May 2014, Boston, MA, USA
The Society for Scholarly Publishing's Annual Meeting theme is "Who's at stake, and what's at stake?". Melinda has been an active member of the program committee for this event, so delegates are guaranteed a great line-up of speakers! Both Melinda and David will be in attandance.
