November 18th, 2014 – Kudos, which helps researchers and institutions maximize the impact and visibility of their publications, has announced that it now has more than 30 clients for the Kudos Publisher Program, which helps publishers to optimize PR and marketing resource by providing insight into engaged authors and high-interest publications. The most recent publishers to join the Kudos Publisher Program include:
Over 25,000 researchers have now registered to use the Kudos system, which enables them to explain and share their published work to wider audiences. The Kudos Publisher Program provides reports that help publishers increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their content marketing, for example by signalling journal articles, book chapters or other publications that are likely to attract widespread interest, and by enabling publishers to align messaging and timing with researchers’ own activities to increase overall impact.
Kudos is also developing an Institutional Program for librarians, research support staff, press & communications teams and others with an interest in increasing the visibility of their institution’s research. A pilot will run in early 2015; a number of institutions in the UK and the US have already signed up but spaces are still available. Interested institutions – around the world – are invited to register now, by visiting Kudos at stand 48 at the UKSG Forum (November 21st, London) or by contacting info@growkudos.com.
